BioAccess announces expansion of Bone Marrow Collection Kit product line to worldwide distribution
BioAccess has entered into a manufacturing agreement with a European company to produce its Bone Marrow Collection System for distribution outside the United States. BioAccess currently supplies the U.S. market with its marrow collection product, and this agreement positions the Company to serve the global bone marrow transplant market by December 2008.
The BioAccess Bone Marrow Harvest System has been recognized as a Safety Device by: CalOSHA, Frontline Healthcare Workers Safety Foundation, International Healthcare Worker Safety Center.
The Bone Marrow Collection Kit (MH-2150) incorporates several design features that allow bone marrow harvesting, bone marrow collection and bone marrow filtration to occur while eliminating steps such as spraying of a blood product. Predicate and competitive devices require the healthcare worker to spray the bone marrow during the bone marrow collection.
